Inland Empire construction equipment demand

Around the Inland Empire, a warehouse address can be part of a much larger site job. Filmore brings together project and permit records across Riverside and San Bernardino counties, along with equipment details from company filings. This page introduces the contractors, shows where the jobs are, and looks more closely at the work. That includes the plans behind World Logistics Center in Moreno Valley and a battery storage site in Chino that would start with demolition and grading.

The local picture

Warehouse sites and land being cleared for new uses

World Logistics Center is planned as a large group of warehouse sites in Moreno Valley. Highland Fairview is the developer, and civil engineer Kier + Wright describes work that reaches well beyond the buildings: mass grading, street improvements, and laying out the first phase. Its project account includes a 160-acre grading area around Building 6. That's part of a phased development, not a claim that the entire warehouse plan is going up at once.

In Chino, the Dirac battery storage project would replace existing industrial buildings. The city identifies a nearly 14-acre site along Oaks and Benson avenues. Demolition applications describe removing about 140,000 square feet of buildings and 420,000 square feet of asphalt and concrete, then grading for the battery installation. The city has approved the development, but further permits are still required. Those applications describe the planned work; they don't confirm demolition has started.

The wider list includes commercial sites, industrial buildings, and power projects across both counties. Some are much smaller than those two developments. In Rancho Cucamonga, plans at 10150 Fourth Street call for a concrete tilt-up warehouse with a mezzanine and surrounding site improvements. That building application is still in review, with grading handled separately.

Who to call

Contractors and the equipment they run

Force Demolition is based in Corona. It removes whole buildings and clears sites, but it also takes on selective demolition inside buildings that will remain. Its equipment records include excavators, mini excavators, and skid steers. We haven't confirmed it as the demolition contractor for Dirac.

Another Corona company, HP Communications, builds communications networks. Its work includes underground construction and cable installation as well as overhead lines. Drilling equipment, mini excavators, and trenchers appear in its company records. Those records cover the whole business, including work outside the Inland Empire.

Riverside and San Bernardino counties both have sizable groups of listed jobs. The area reaches from Chino and Rancho Cucamonga through Riverside, Moreno Valley, and Perris, and out to the desert communities. The Inland Empire label covers that whole region, not just the cities beside Riverside.

At 12570 Day Street in Moreno Valley, plans call for a two-tenant commercial shell, a drive-through, and a shared patio. Site lighting and EV charging are included too. It's a smaller example of the building and site work found throughout the two-county list.

About the data on this page

New-build jobs include homes, commercial buildings and other new construction. Maintenance and renovation work aren't in these counts. The map shows jobs with coordinates, so it won't include every job in the list.

Some project records don't include permits. That doesn't mean the job has no permits. The stories also draw on owner, builder and public-agency updates. A story may discuss a development left out of the totals because its record is duplicated or incorrectly classified. Grouped markers on large maps keep a location from one of the jobs they represent, rather than showing every address separately.

Contractors are matched through offices or project activity in this market. Fleet details are company-wide equipment on file, not verified purchases or a count of machines at these sites. Public filings often arrive 30–90 days after the event. The refresh badge is the page's update date; individual dates appear in the tables.
