Phoenix construction equipment demand
There's a lot of ground to cover around Phoenix. This page brings together construction jobs and contractor equipment records across Maricopa and Pinal counties, from Buckeye to Apache Junction and south to Maricopa. Filmore gets the job details from project and permit records and the equipment information from company filings. Below, you'll find local contractors, project addresses, and a map. We've also checked some of the plans to explain what the work involves, rather than leaving you with a building type and a permit count.

New buildings and the work around them
In Chandler, St. Mary-Basha Catholic School is planning a new gym and classrooms at its Galveston Street campus. City planning records describe a building of about 21,300 square feet. The building application calls for a concrete slab, block walls, and a steel roof. A separate application covers landscaping and new water and sewer connections. Together, they describe a campus project with work both inside and outside the new building.
Out in Buckeye, plans at 1355 Verrado Way call for four stories of climate-controlled storage, with new water and electrical service. It's a different kind of site from the school, but both projects were still awaiting permit approval in the records we checked. Neither should be read as a report that excavation has started.
Across the wider list, construction extends well past Phoenix's city limits. There are groups of jobs around Buckeye and Avondale in the west, and Apache Junction, Queen Creek, and Maricopa farther east and south. That spread matters when you're getting familiar with the area. A page labeled Phoenix includes work in several communities with their own builders, contractors, and sites.
Who to call
Contractors and the equipment they run
Markham Contracting works across several of those types of projects. The Phoenix company handles grading, paving, and underground water and sewer lines, with work ranging from subdivisions to industrial sites and roads. Its company equipment records include backhoes, excavators, and wheel loaders. Those records describe the business as a whole, not equipment assigned to the projects above.
Felix Construction has a more focused business: water and wastewater construction. It builds and improves treatment plants and pump stations, including the electrical and control systems they need. That gives you a different kind of contractor to get to know alongside companies that prepare building sites. We haven't linked either company to the school or storage permits.

Construction jobs to check in Phoenix
The projects below are examples from the wider two-county area. Their permits can cover a building, the work around it, or separate parts of the same job. We've looked beyond the permit count to distinguish new construction from repairs and work inside existing buildings. Pending plans are labeled as plans, not work underway.

New-build jobs include homes, commercial buildings and other new construction. Maintenance and renovation work aren't in these counts. The map shows jobs with coordinates, so it won't include every job in the list.
Contractors are matched through offices or project activity in this market. Fleet details are company-wide equipment on file, not verified purchases or a count of machines at these sites. Public filings often arrive 30–90 days after the event. The refresh badge is the page's update date; individual dates appear in the tables.
