Getting Sagebrush ready for D.R. Horton
Boos Development bought Sagebrush in February 2026 with plans for 345 home lots. It brought in Tampa-based RIPA to develop the site and expected to turn over the finished lots for home construction in the fourth quarter. When RIPA posted an update in September, its crew was still installing storm drainage.
RIPA has worked on large Pasco sites before Sagebrush. At Wiregrass Ranch Sports Campus in Wesley Chapel, it excavated more than 130,000 cubic yards and installed over 23,000 feet of pipe, along with curbing and asphalt. That was an earlier job; Boos named RIPA as its sitework contractor for Sagebrush in 2026.
In Riverview, work on the Tampa Florida Temple is at another stage. Photos from September 2026 show crews putting precast panels onto the steel frame while work begins in the basement. The building broke ground the year before, in August 2025.
