Messaging Consent & Enrollment Process
Filmore Inc. | Last updated June 2026 | https://www.filmore.ai/legal/messaging-consent
What this policy covers
FilmoreAI is business-to-business software used by construction equipment dealers. This policy covers the FilmoreAI SMS (text message) program — text alerts delivered to a sales representative's work mobile number from a FilmoreAI sending number.
SMS messages are sent only to sales representatives who are actively employed by a FilmoreAI dealer customer, on their employer-issued work mobile number, and only after the representative has opted in. FilmoreAI does not send messages to consumers, the general public, or any recipient outside of an enrolled dealer organization. SMS opt-in is completed only through the digital enrollment screen described below. FilmoreAI's separate voice-calling program is documented in the Voice Consent policy.
How consent is captured
Every representative is enrolled individually, and no SMS communication begins until an explicit consent record is on file. FilmoreAI's consent method for the SMS program is a digital click-through screen, which produces a written, timestamped, and independently verifiable consent record.
Digital click-through consent
FilmoreAI sends the representative a secure enrollment link by email on the rep's first authenticated session. The opt-in screen presents:
- The program name
- The destination phone number
- The assigned FilmoreAI sending number(s)
- The categories and frequency of messages
- A statement that message and data rates may apply
- The STOP and HELP keywords
- Links to the SMS Program Terms and the Privacy Policy
- A consent checkbox that is not pre-selected
- A Confirm enrollment button that stays disabled until the checkbox is checked
The complete opt-in workflow — including the unchecked-by-default consent box, the disabled-until-checked Confirm button, the checked/enabled state, the exact consent statement, and the confirmation SMS — is published, as a static screen reproduction with no login required, on the public SMS Opt-In Evidence page.
The consent checkbox is empty by default. The representative must actively check it; the Confirm enrollment button stays disabled until they do. FilmoreAI never pre-selects the checkbox.
On submission, the system records the digital consent and FilmoreAI sends the confirmation SMS from the assigned sending number. The digital consent record captures:
- The click-through timestamp (ISO 8601, UTC)
- A single-use enrollment token
- The delivery channel
- The client IP address and user-agent
- The exact consent statement text shown
- The URL and version of this Consent page as presented
SMS enrollment is completed only through the digital click-through screen described above. FilmoreAI does not enroll representatives in the SMS program through any verbal, recorded, or in-person method.
Sending-number configurations
FilmoreAI issues sending numbers in three configurations, chosen by the dealer: a shared pool (today's default), per-dealer dedicated numbers, or per-rep dedicated numbers. In every configuration, the consent screen names the specific number(s) that rep will receive SMS from, and every opt-in is recorded as an explicit destination-to-sending-number pairing.
Consent record
FilmoreAI's admin console stores a consent record for each SMS enrollment, capturing:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Rep identity | Full name and dealer employee ID |
| Destination number | The work mobile number being enrolled |
| Sending numbers | The FilmoreAI sending number(s) the rep consented to receive SMS from |
| Consent timestamp | ISO 8601 UTC, captured when the consent is recorded |
| Digital consent metadata | Enrollment token, IP address, user-agent, exact consent statement text, and policy URLs and versions presented |
| Dealer organization | Legal entity name of the dealer |
| Confirmation SMS receipt | Message SID and delivery status from the SMS provider |
| Audit entry | Immutable log record, retained for at least seven years |
Confirmation message
Immediately after a consent record is saved, FilmoreAI sends a confirmation SMS from the assigned sending number: "FilmoreAI: You are now subscribed to SMS alerts. Msg frequency varies (typically 3–10/business day). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."
Opt-out and help
Reps can control their subscription at any time. SMS opt-out is case-insensitive and applied immediately.
- SMS opt-out keywords: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT
- Help keywords: HELP, INFO
- Re-opt-in keyword: START
What we do not do
- We do not send SMS to anyone other than enrolled sales reps at FilmoreAI dealer customers.
- We do not sell, rent, trade, or share phone numbers with any third party.
- We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- We do not cross-pollinate numbers between dealer customers.
Mobile Information Sharing Policy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who perform support services on our behalf — such as message delivery or customer support — is permitted solely to operate the messaging program. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent will never be sold, rented, leased, or shared with any third parties or lead generators for any purpose, under any circumstances.
Message types and frequency
SMS content includes daily territory lead recommendations, permit and project alerts, UCC filing and disposition-signal notifications, equipment lifecycle and rebuild-window notifications, and replies to text queries the rep sends. Message frequency varies; these are recurring messages, with typical volume of three to ten messages per business day.
